Measurement Tips

Bust

Bring arms to your sides, place tape measure under your arms
and run it around the fullest part of the bustline.

Waist

Locate the natural crease of your waist by bending to one side. Loop the tape measure around
your natural waistline, keeping one finger between the tape and your body for an easy fit.

Hips

Place feet together, loop the tape measure around the fullest part of your hips,
approximately 7 inches below your waistline.

5 Ways to Welcome Spring

Ancient wisdom, from Traditional Chinese Medicine to Ayurveda, tells us that Spring is a time to clear out and begin again.  There's comfort in knowing that we are repeatedly given a new beginning.  What needs to be cleared out?  What wants to start?  Only you can find these answers for yourself.  Here are 5 ways to start exploring what they might be.  And remember, if you don’t get to these today, this week or this month, let the energy of early Spring remind you that you can always begin again.

1. Incorporate Salt

Salt is a tool for cleansing and clearing.  Soak in it, use it on your skin or in your hair.  Feel the reset.

2. Clean Physical Spaces

Whether it's one drawer or your entire house, make it a priority to give away what no longer aligns with you.  Clean and organize the things you love.  Notice the new spaces you've created and leave them open for what's to come.

3. Plant Seeds

Start an ongoing list of people, places, ideas or things that pull your attention.  After a week or so, review your list and look for commonalities or a particular item that jumps out at you.  Find a book about that commonality or special thing and read it throughout the rest of Spring.

4. Move Outside

Start a habit of moving outside everyday.  Some days will still be cold and trees will be bare but can you feel a stirring growing each day?

5. Celebrate

Daytime and nighttime are uniquely equalized on the Spring Equinox, which occurs on Thursday, March 19th this year.  We have officially survived the winter.  Gather with loved ones to celebrate!
